Lesley Clifton

Lesley Clifton is the Principal of Escondido Charter High School, part of the American Heritage Charter Schools in north San Diego County. She runs a traditional high school program alongside an Independent Study program offering a hybrid of on-campus and off-campus courses as well as a fully remote option. In addition, she manages compliance and training for American Heritage Charter Schools TK-8th grade Independent Study programs. Lesley has been in education for 25 years, 24 of them in Independent Study.
